Ziplining & Elephant Camp Full-Day Tour
Itinerary:
08:00 AM – Departure from Chiang Mai
Embark on a 40-minute journey to MaeTaeng Elephant Park, located on the banks of the Maetaeng River in the picturesque Maetaman Valley, just 50 kilometers north of Chiang Mai City.
08:45 AM – Arrival at MaeTaeng Elephant Park
Mahout Elephant Experience: Dive into an engaging and interactive experience with elephants. Begin with a captivating performance by young, adorable elephants, showcasing their playful and endearing behaviors. After the performance, enjoy a memorable ride on the back of an elephant, guided by an experienced mahout, and learn about their care and daily routines.
Ox Cart Rides: Experience traditional rural transport as you journey through the picturesque countryside in an ox cart, reflecting the charm of traditional Thai rural life.
12:30 PM – Buffet Lunch
Enjoy a buffet lunch at the park, featuring a selection of local Thai and international dishes.
01:30 PM – Bamboo Rafting
Relax after lunch with a tranquil ride down the Maetaeng River on a traditional bamboo raft. Take in the serene river views and lush surroundings as you float peacefully downstream.
02:30 PM – Drive to Zipline Location
After the bamboo rafting, embark on a scenic drive to your next adventure—a thrilling zipline experience.
03:00 PM – Zipline Adventure
Final activity of the day is a ziplining flight through the treetops as we criss-cross our way over the lower reaches of the river. The package includes a 1-hour zipline experience, offering an exhilarating way to explore the natural beauty of the area from above.
04:00 PM – Return to Chiang Mai
Remarks:
- Full-day Tour. The tour is private basis. Minimum 2 persons.
- Includes: Entrance fee to Elephant park and activities, lunch, and 1-hour zipline package. English speaking guide. Accident insurance (for age 1-75 yrs.)
- Zipline cautions:
- Age Limits: Zipliners must be between 5 and 70 years old. For those under 18, a parent or guardian must sign, and kids must be accompanied by staff.
- Insurance: Accident insurance does not cover ziplining activities.
- Safety: Participants must be in good health. Follow all staff instructions and wear the provided safety gear. Ziplining may be delayed or canceled due to bad weather.
- By participating, you accept the risks involved. Enjoy the adventure!
- Changes or cancellations are free up to 5 PM the day before departure. Afterward, a 50% charge applies. A no-show incurs a 100% charge.
